Biomechanics' services revolve around providing mechanical testing using servo-controlled hydraulic test frames.  We have six axial frames and two axial-torsion frames able to apply axial loads up to 50kN and torsional loads to 550 N-m.  We have developed custom aperatuses for specific tests such as functional wear machines.  In addition, we have supporting facilities to manufacture mounting fixtures, prepare tissue specimens and evaluate test specimens.
